Thirteen Reasons Why(Netflix Original Series)

Anybody else watch it?

I have heard the controversy, and I must say, it was way more sensitive to the subject than I saw it being given credit for. I'm not sure how it glorified teen suicide, or suicide period for that matter. It goes to great lengths to show the gory aftermath of the wreck it causes. Devastated parents mainly, but also teachers and classmates. It also does a very good job of showing what bullying and physical/sexual assault can do to a victim's psyche.

WARNING: As someone who has been suicidal recently and was at one point close to actually drinking bleach, I do think it needs to be labelled with a trigger warning. I would absolutely NOT recommend watching it if you aren't in an okay mental state, or at least aren't easily triggered. I myself had a few moments that I had to look away or turn it off. It is obviously NOT for small children(I'd say under 15 absolute NO). They also do show her suicide towards the end of the last episode, and it is extremely difficult to watch.
