My best guess is that they're trying to work out broadcast rights issues and getting last minute deals in place to keep it up each time. The "false alarm" is just them preparing people for what will happen if the deals fall through.
I'm happy with that. Even though it means I've been binge watching it for nothing.  |

Yeah I only like a couple episodes. When the Padawans goes to hunt for their crystals and builds their lightsabers, The Lawless, and when Yoda fights Palpatine for the first time during the Clone Wars. I'll probably end up buying all the episodes and the movie at some point anyway so

The Clone Wars, redeemed the prequels for me. Possibly my favorite part of all the SW's tales.

I have to say that--for me--the Clone Wars was an opportunity to have more Obi-Wan screentime. The series did a good job of extending the story for Ani and Obi (filling in the gaps that were evident in ep.3); indeed, I feel that it helped to create the pathos between/for Ani and Obi. And, I have to admit, it was damned fun to see Darth Maul (arguably the best part of ep.1) again and go more into his story  |

That's good news but I do hope they pick up Rebels.
The Clone Wars is an awesome show. I have watched the whole series twice but I am with Bluewolf and any others who have said this, I would love it if Netflix got Rebels. I just signed up for Direct TV package that actually is saving me money, first time we have had cable of some sort in 4 years and I immediately go to Disney XD on demand and they just have sporadic episodes of Rebels. I would like to pick up where I left off which is Episode 9 season 1 and watch it till I am caught up but no go there. I am bummed. I set a recording for all shows of Rebels to be recorded to see if I can by chance get the ones I need. Keep looking for deals on ebay for the blurays, but some are way over priced for what I can afford. If Clone Wars is really leaving June 7th, I am gonna start watching all my favs. Love them all but I would have to say that the Padawans searching for their kyber crystals and the the Yoda episodes in the last season are some of my most favorite. |
