Just received a Dark Sentinel LE V4 in a grab bag. Looking for ideas on how to give it a more individual look. Any customization ideas welcome. Blade is fire orange.

May The Force Serve You Well

O-rings in the grooves is a popular mod.
And, with it being a Dark Sentinel, you could also try sanding parts to give it a different look as you remove the black.
Ordering a different pommel for it can also change up the look.

For example, I used the Dark Warglaive pommel on my Dark Initiate V4 LE twins

Hi.  My first suggestion is to spend some time in this very section that you have posted in to take a view of our fellow members customizations.  These include Sentinels.  Personally, I find the LE silver or gold grooves to be challenging but some easier/more common custom suggestions could include the 0-rings, weathering using sand paper, hilt wrap and building a shroud.

One of our members... Sedstiskyfaller produces 3D add ons and cosplay items that many have appreciated and used to good success on their sabers.

Good luck with yours and share the results.  By the way there is going to be an upcoming saber customization friendly challenge starting soon/now.  Please check it out.  Smiley

I have some model weathering kit's for model trains, gives a rust look to any metal's, I also have 2 whole boxes of paint and dye, I wonder if I get a Grab Bag Aeon V3 LE that I could create a custom aged look to it, like its been in oregon weather for 40 plus years. Have it your way like BK used to say.

I like using common household dye or weathering on some model trains and scenery on a layout (just me) but Not sure if it would work for a saber.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but here's what I just recently did with a grab bag Dark Sentinel:

Basically:  sandpaper, various tools to scratch it, a different pommel, some leather, a new switch and a complete electronics overhaul.

Sounds like a lot of work SFD. Just drag it behind a car for a few miles. much more random that way! Wink

I was thinking while I was doing it that I could probably just kick it down the street.  Tongue

Lol just give it to some kids to go play catch out in the parking lot for a few hours. Pick young ones still learning to catch. 😁

Rent one of those small cement mixers, throw in a few rocks and the hilt, and let it roll for a few hours!

My dad's an engineer, he's on construction sites all day.  So, I can just send one with him.  Wink

Or for something a little more subtle, you could try TR-77477's acid weathering technique...

I'd give you a point for that one SFD, only I like the symetry of the 1001 Wink
