Hey everyone!  First off! Here are the specs! -Manticore CE (nickel plated finish) -High profile pommel -Red illuminated silver AV switch -Corvertec wheel (silver, near pommel) -Bane's Heart LED with silver flash on clash -Quick disconnect? YES! -32" ultraedge mid grade blade with bullet tip -Li-Ion setup with buck puck -No recharge port -Obsidian V4 soundboard So here is my first review of my first Ultrasabers lightsaber ever! It is so amazing and I love it so much I couldn't figure out how to type it all into words, so I made a video instead. The Ultrasabers staff has been nothing short of amazing and helpful throughout my first ever saber purchase, so I'd like to give them a thank you! Like I said earlier, I'm at a loss for words sort of, so I'll let my video do the talking. I got my first saber a month ago and I went with the Manticore also. It was love at first sight... And I was beyond impressed when it did arrive!

Thanks! I love the Manticore... but now I want more sabers! Haha. I'm glad I went all in on my first purchase. What finish/blade color did you go with? Pics? |

In NO WAY does that replace it, but at least I can change colors if I want. I really wanted pulse and flicker, but decided I could live without them. (In the future I'm def going for a diamond saber when I get the cash) Next month I'm going to pick up a modular LED in blazing red with violet amethyst foc, and a grab bag stunt for more outside practice and full contact dueling! |

But I'm also happy I got the quick disconnect feature. I want to try a couple other colors with this hilt. From the photos I've seen, it looks pretty rad with any color! |

You're welcome! I thoroughly enjoyed the video and you've helped me out a lot! I would love to instal a crystal chamber in a future ultrasaber, but I'm afraid that I just don't have a big enough knowledge base to be able to make one that I would be happy with. My only experience with electronics and building is working on and fixing guitars. Which I'm pretty good at if I must say so myself! But it's far less complex work compared to the circuit boards and internals in ultrasabers. I really really liked what you did in the reaper. Who knows... maybe one day ultrasabers will offer a couple sabers with crystal chambers, but seeing as they market themselves primarily as a "combat lightsaber" company I don't imagine it happening anytime soon. If at all. One can dream, right?!! Haha |
