Hello everyone, my name is Dan and I am from North Dakota. I have been a big fan of the Star Wars universe since I was very young. A few years ago, after doing some research, I splurged on what I thought would most likely be the only lightsaber I would ever buy, a US Scorpion in Consular Green, Silver FOC, and Obsidian Premium sound. I intended to begin dueling with one of my friends who also purchased a US at that time, but that never panned out, and I'm sad to say that it mostly sat in a corner and collected dust. Fast forward to the present time, and due to some large and recent changes in my life (a different story for a different time) I find myself with a lot more time on my hands and a little extra income. In looking for some new hobbies I stumbled upon my "Good Ol' Scorpion" and decided to do a LOT more research. So after the past few months I now have 4 Ultrasabers total and a 5th on the way haha! I have caught the Ultrasabers fever......and the only cure, I fear....is to have more Ultrasabers! I have combed through these forums many times, but have now finally worked up the courage to join it myself. I hope to see all of you around, and I think I will post some reviews of my sabers within the next few days. May the Force be with all of you!

Welcome. It's nice to see some other Lightside-ers around here. And yes, it really does become an illness. Ever since I bought my first one, I have had my next four lined out. It has been pretty slow for me, but eventually I will get them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The only thing we ask is that you first use the Search Function (picture with magnifying glass) to make sure that the question has not already been asked and answered. Props for the taste in the Scorp, but I'm not sure about the CG. ~¿~ The Scorp was my first as well. And although bulky, well balanced. You get used to the hunger after a while. PPTTFfft! You seem to be favoring the solid hilts of the V-series. I think those do the best for dueling (read: fewer parts to shake loose). You will love the Proph. But you need to get some red in the mix.  |
