this has been a long time coming and the 4th video review program gave me the little push to get this done. A lot of my pics of my sabers have faded away recently due to photobucket getting greedy, so its a great time to do a video. I wanted to show off some of my creativity using the Ultrasabers Archon. Usually I dont like to have more than one of the same hilt except for my staffs. But the Archon is so versatile I couldnt resist. If you look at them, you'd never guess the body on all three of the sabers is the same. I was able to make a Plo Koon, Luke ROTJ, and Obi Wan ROTS from the same saber, and have each one look fairly accurate and be highly functional.
If you're on the fence about an archon, definitely go for it. The saber body is smooth, the AV switch is well placed, its easy to handle, decently balanced, and sturdy as you'd expect from any Ultrasaber. The sound comes out great through the pommel, the flash on clash works brilliantly, and all the parts are nicely secured inside a very compact saber body. And when you start swapping out emitters or pommels using the MHS compatible parts, or doing some simple painting, you can create virtually any sort of saber you want!
