saberstaff question

Well probably a really noobish question but is it possible to make a saberstaff from two crossguard sabers? My brother in law was asking and I wasnt sure.

Yeah, you just need a coupler.

I'd do it if I had a second flamberge,  I did make this ridiculous thing once.  It's a flamberge, pike extension, Dom v4 and a 16 inch blade.

I recommend getting an adjustable coupler, otherwise your guards won't be aligned. (Most likely)

That's a really good point.  I bet it would be pretty cool with the quick release if you could make one end spin.

I've been thinking about doing that or making something similar to the video shown but that would be acquired, piece by piece and I imagine rather unwieldy and used more as a display piece.

Yes. The QR coupler is not fixed radially, so it spins pretty free.
