I hope I'm in the right board for this but Does anyone know if there is a way to mute the sound on an OB Lite Soundboard. I love the sound but my family does not XD

Nope.  You can't customize a Lite board at all.  Stuff something into the pommel to muffle the sound, (some kind of cloth usually works) and maybe your family will like it a bit better.  Wink

And your speaker, if you're unlucky Wink Especially when your sound board is at 100%, the resonance from the pommel back to the speaker is huge and can really destroy it. I'm with sfd79 - try to muffle it with some soft tissue stuffed into the pommel. That's better for your speaker...and your wallet Wink

Careful with paper towels. The small fibers could get in and damage your speaker. You're going to want something that's made out of cloth.

What I found works best is this: Take one of those business cards that US sent with your saber and cut a circle out that fits inside the pommel and slip that into the pommel to block the throat.  The dark color makes it hard to see and it does a good job of muffling the sound.  It is also less likely to do any damage to your speaker.

Go to your local Radio Shack or audio hardware store and get some speaker cabinet insulation foam (the black foam that is glued to the insides of the cabinet)
Cut a couple of disks (depending on it's thickness) and use these instead. The advantages are that it will muffle the sound BUT won't seal your speaker inside your hilt which could lead to damaging it and secondly the material SHOULD be fire resistant so you don't have to worry about it igniting from any heat etc.

Um....   Yeah!  Let's do that!  ;-)

Seriously, great suggestion, though I think Radio Shack is pretty much done now.  Probably a music supply store or instrument store would have something like this as well.

Nice, Tyeth.  Point!  :-)

Yeah sorry 'bout the Radio Shack quote, I'm in the UK so don't know what retail stores you have over where you are (I know of Walmart and Target, but not many more!) It was more about the idea rather than the location!

Thanks and a point back at ya!

yeah you could also always order a small piece of soundproof foam from a music supply store like guitar center or sweetwater.

I found this at the craft store that might work well. It's called stiffened felt. It comes in 9 x 12 inch sheets and it's thin. It would probably work well as well as look like it intentionally belongs there instead of using cardboard or something. You would just cut a circle and place it in front of your speaker.
