I'm interested in doing some 'advanced' work with the diamond setup - specifically, I want to program things like harmonics, power spectra, and other things that I would normally generate with MATLAB or in a custom SW package. I can easily export those to something like .csv, or to pretty much any arbitrary binary format I'd like. Thing is, I don't know what format the Diamond SW wants, or will take (what, precisely, is a .peff file?).

A best-case scenario would be some sort of 'import from CSV' type option that just lets me specify something like...

time_in_milliseconds, powerA_intensity, powerB_intensity, powerC_intensity
time_in_milliseconds, powerA_intensity, powerB_intensity, powerC_intensity
time_in_milliseconds, powerA_intensity, powerB_intensity, powerC_intensity
...

so that I can get nice sinusoids and such rather than having to click that UI element hundreds of times and not make any typos.

If anyone ever searches this post, and needs some details, I think I figured 'some things' out. PM me for details if you're interested in things like struct layouts, data serialization, and other such technical details.
