...and the customizations begin. That's a genuine rayskin grip, courtesy of Tandy Leather and my very patient family who surrendered the dining room table for a few hours    Still have to tidy up the edges where the rayskin proved ...complicated to cut straight but it's getting there. |

Beautiful BB; reminds me of the hilts of my katana and wakizashi  . That rayskin has such a great texture to it, visually as well as tactilely^^ |

That has such a unique looking texture to it. How's the grip on that?
It feels really great, actually. It's hard to really describe... the feel's not quite cow leather, not quite textured rubber, but has properties of both. The underside is a soft, thin leather, which is nice because it shouldn't scratch the hilt. The little nodules are hard and dense but they move a little on the skin beneath them so they themselves respond to your grip. It's easily the nicest feeling leather wrap I've ever done:) |

It feels wonderful! It's definitely unique and I recommend everyone give it a go if they ever come across tanned ray skin like that:) |

I've never done any kind of wrap on any of my sabers. I've heard many good things about Tandy Leather, though. Your work is inspiring me to seriously think about trying it on maybe my Arbiter. |

I've never done any kind of wrap on any of my sabers. I've heard many good things about Tandy Leather, though. Your work is inspiring me to seriously think about trying it on maybe my Arbiter.
