No, no it won't. That's why the option isn't there. Evil is more powerful than you'll ever know.
And just as you wander the darkness, the glow from your saber your only light, as you feel that creeping sensation that some...thing is coming up behind you, closer, and closer, and closer, and you spin around to face it, blade held defiantly in front of you, taking one step back.... your screams don't even echo as you step off into the chasm falling, falling, falling into the darkness forever.

Silliness aside, I'm sure they can do some blunt force trauma if you hit someone with them hard enough. Especially since I've heard they have some weight behind them. So tecnically, yes, I imagine they could be used as a weapon against evil in a pinch. Not that I'd recommend doing such a thing of course, but hey, just about anything can be weaponized if you think about it.

Short answer: yes these have the strength of weapons. The HG blades have strength comparable to that of a bokken, just with the added feature of lighting the darkness.  |

Lead us not into temptation, for we can find the way just fine on our own. I'm always surprised by the number of people who don't think to flip it over, hold it by the blade, and hit someone with the hilt. Seriously, put a Dark War Glaive emitter on as the pommel.... Heck, forget the light up part, just take a Yari extension and put a Dark War Glaive emitter on it.... You could hurt someone real good. Or hurt someone good real bad  |
