Those grips look just awesome on your silver Prophecy, and nice match with a custom pommel for your dark Prophecy.
Those Tri blades look brilliant ... points for the review!

Good looking pair of sabers! What did you use for the grips?

tx_tuff, I bought the grips from Custom Saber Shop and had to cut them down to fit the grooves of the saber.

Thanks Batmike90.

Cool I just bought grips from there too for the same PURPOSE, although I don't have a Prophecy yet (planning ahead). But I think I'm removing the covertec wheel and putting them between the groves instead of in them. Either way you did a great job with them. They look more they came to for in perfectly.

Thanks. And I think putting the grips between the grooves is the better way to go because the rubber is a pain to cut perfectly.

I liked the grips you put on your Prophecy.
I thought about putting grips on my Prophecy.
Torn by either using the Graflex types sold at TCS or the ones you used or cutting O-rings open and gluing them on but I'm not sure what kind of glue to use.

Any Ideas?

I would prefer buying grips than trying to make them out of O-rings. Seems like an unnecessary pain when you can just buy grips for a $1 each. As for the Graflex grips or other types of grips, that's up to personal taste. Though if you go with Graflex grips I wouldn't mind seeing what they look like on the Prophecy. lol

Nice review. Good looking sabers there. I have a Graflex and a Chosen One on the way, both Diamond CEs. I like the thought of the Graflex grips on the Prophecy. Might be a cool touch. Point to you for the review.

Thanks for sharing, nice review. Two traditional favorite Ultrasabers! I like the black grip section on the Prophecy.

Thanks guys. I'm doing a lot of changes on my Dark Prophecy right now. Can't wait until it's finished.
