That was my original design plan when I bought the Omen, but then I realized someone had probably already done it. So I did the Empire decals instead.

It's one of the best bodies to play swapsies with.
Thanks. This gives me a better idea of how I want to go for another saber project. I love that you kept the collar with the Mantis emitter. It looks really good. Although......Can you get a shot with the Arbiter emitter with the Mantis collar, if it fits? |

Although......Can you get a shot with the Arbiter emitter with the Mantis collar, if it fits?
It does fit  But you do wind up with a gap inside the collar  |

I like the idea that a saber can be constructed from bits of junk that don't always go together. Imperfect aspects lend to the "personality" of the design. I always ascribed OWK's 2nd saber as field assembled in that he lost his Guardian during the some skirmish of the CW, and needed to use what was on hand to build another. This would also explain why there is such a divergence in the designs. |
