I have had two raffle entries in the past. Neither were held for the end of the raffle. Neither won. Some entries might be held if they win. Some purchases might be held for other reasons. Stock. Build. Etc.

Generally they've held them, but that's entirely a US decision and a lot of times it depends on the storage space they have available. They don't do any drawings until the night the raffle ends. Of the 4 raffles I've been in, the first 3 of which I won something, all of my entry orders were held for shipping until the raffle was over.

Ultrasabers is withholding all orders participating in the raffle until after the drawing next month. Customer Service sent me a nice note w the official disclaimer they put out this time (please see fine print on raffle rules). I elected to have them fabricate mine without delay for immediate shipping so no raffle for me on this order.

Good news my order shipped! Probably because I ordered the first day of the raffle
Edit - in the order details it no longer lists "DSC-1851 Autumn Raffle Ticket 2017" in my order. Am I still entered in the raffle? Is this normal?

I don't think they are holding orders until the raffle is over. My Chosen One Diamond shipped yesterday and I have a raffle entry ticket. Expected delivery is Monday via USPS. |

This is a good question OWK. Copied this from the rules page. How can they know who won if entries are not finished and your order has already shipped until the 13th and it says they hold your order and the prize ships with your order if you are a winner? Weird. From the raffle rules page: Prizes will be shipped to the same shipping address on the order # with the winning raffle ticket and will ship with your order once the raffle ends. If the winning order is on BACKORDER then that will also delay the shipping of the prize.
Winners will be announced on www.saberforum.com on November 14th and also via email. |

Just got an email asking me if I want to wait and stay in the raffle or elect to forfeit my ticket and get my saber built sooner. Would I lose all the promotions too if I decided not to stay?

Yeah there is some Schroedinger's cat logic going on if they hold your order until after the raffle, but at the same time don't pick winners until the end. If they don't know who the winners are, how can they know to hold your order or not hold it? Then if they pick winners until the end, why aren't all orders held? So every order must be in a quasi win/lose state both being held and not held until after the raffle when the wave function collapses.  |
