SCORPION Recharge port

I recently acquired an immaculate Scorpion Sabre, so forgive the noob questions.

To recharge, as with a lot of people I guess, I have to physically remove the batteries etc. I can see this being a problem as with repeated flex on the wires they will be subject to breaks or weakness.

Is there a mod available to add a recharge port and/or instructions?  Not sure if theres a UK based location to get spares or mods from or if it is all US based?

Slightly off topic, is there anywhere UK to obtain the sabre coloured plastic inserts to change the blade colour as Im guessing that the blade colour is controlled by that rather than software.
