OK, just spitballing here, but...
Could an enterprising jedi attach two Brood Guard's together (or a Brood Guard and something like a yari extension or Initiate) to make a saber
scythe?
I've seen it done with a Flamberge (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsT-8v4vhSI), but IMO the perpendicular blade on that makes it look more scythe-like, but function more like a massive war pick (which is still awesome).
Although, now that I think about it and look at some images of scythes, the horizontal blade makes more sense, but the Brood Guard could still be a more scythe-like handle than using the crossguards of a Flamberge.
I don't know, might be a neat addition to saber polearms or just a weird pipe dream on my end. My pipe dreams do tend to involve machined aluminum pipes and LEDs .

I don't think so. The switch is wired through the 90° bend, plus there is no MHS threading along the handle.
However, I have thought about what kind of craziness could ensue by coupling GBs. (Great now we have another meaning for GB to confuse the noobs with.
)
