Here is something I worked on a couple of months ago and never got a chance to share. It is one of my favorites. Love the RGB.
First I hit it with a gold fleck undertone, dull clear coat, then I sanded it.
I put it on the bench grinder and widened the grips and scuffed the hilt randomly with a hachet blade
Dremeled in blaster damage
Multiple texture and dull finish clear coats
Applied a dark plum gator lambskin around the buttons. I just love leather.
