Whats the easiest way to add sound to a grab bag saber on a budget? I'm starting to really like the sentinel I got as a grab bag saber and want to add sound to it. but without spending 150 bucks to buy the obsidian board and batteries etc.

I'd say email Ultrasabers, and see what installing an Obsidian Lite board would run you.
And, if 'they' do it, you have no worries about killing your warranty

I hadn't thought about that! I'll send an email right now.

You could get a new saber with the specs that you want likely at a comparable or even cheaper cost... factoring in the shipping.  Especially with the latest 15% off sound special and free shipping for USA.  Smiley

Thanks for that helpful information.  It really has to be a special saber for that person or a higher end one to warrant the expense of sending back for any upgrades.  Smiley

Depends upon your saber electronics skills.  A few members such as Calculon and Kouri have taken the sound board from a plastic toy replica and fitted it into an US.  Suppose you would have to construct a different style of battery pack and board chassis.

Good luck and perhaps check out some of the sound saber customs starting with those two.  Smiley
