A very ambitious project

So, an idea for a custom weapon randomly popped into my head.  I have no idea if anyone has done this before, but my searching has turned up no results.  What is this idea, you ask?

Two words:

Saber Claws

The design involves four 7" blades mounted on the fingertips with the speaker on the back of the hand and all the rest of the circuitry strapped to the forearm.  Most of this would be hidden inside a gauntlet of sorts.

I've done a bit of number crunching, and this project will easily run over $200 for just the LEDs and blades if I go through US, but I may be able to find some third-party stuff for cheaper.

I suppose I'll leave this out for input from the community.  Any tips and ideas are more than welcome.  More will be posted here as this concept develops.

Lonstermash over on Instagram has made Wolverine style claws before.  I don't know if they make sound or anything though.






Not really what you're looking for though, you want them to come out of your finger tips?  Don't know that I've seen that before.

OK, those are just tooo cool!  setting the "Wolverine" vibe aside, I can really see a Sith using these as a personal weapon...  Oh yeah...   Plasma-claws!

Here is a rough sketch of the layout.  The wiring lines are not accurate by any means, but it is just as a visual aid until I sit down and work out exactly how it will end up.  Nothing is to scale except for the tracing of my hand.  Yes, my hands are very big.

Lolz@Sithslayer XD Those definitely looks cool though. I'd try a Wolverine cosplay but don't feel bodily fit and all for it so x.x Hope to see this cool idea done soon though This would've been better posted in the cosplay thread though I think
