New to diamond controller. Can not get into saber menu to change fonts.

Hi all,

For Xmas, I made out very well.  My wife presented me with a new consular with a diamond controller.  I was blown away.  I will be posting pics and full reviews later.

Of course, after charging the batteries, the first thing I have tried is using the provided instruction sheet to change the sound font/ color.  However, now matter what I do I cannot get into the onboard menu.  If I hold down the button and stab, the only thing that happens is the saber powers down.  If I hold-stab-release, it goes into lockup like I had just pushed the button.  I am sure I am doing something wrong.

Any help is appreciated.  Feeling pretty stupid right now.

Ok.  Figured it out thanks to you tube etc.  I must have an older version of the controller.  The menu is opened by holding and twisting clockwise twice, not by stabbing as the instructions told me to do.  I wonder if I can update the firmware through the app to use the newer commands.  I will play with that later today.

Yes, the launcher will allow you to update the firmware of the saber.
