Sentinel Yellow and Fun With Filters... Second Attempt

Sorry for my first botched attempt at posting images here.  Doh!  This is what I meant to say/show the first time:

I recently bought a Dark Standard Issue w/ vertical grooves in Sentinel Yellow/Ultra Edge, and I absolutely love it!  The SY is a beautiful color, and it lends itself to some really neat color changing opportunities with filters.  I'm posting a few shots of the different colors for anyone who might be interested...

This is a daylight shot of the hilt with SY. 

Here is SY in the dark.  It is actually a bit more yellow than it appears in the pic.  Mine is a warmer yellow close to the hilt, fading to a cooler yellow at the top (but it is a slight fade with a beautiful effect). 

Here is the SY with a green filter:

Also, the top of each picture is a relatively accurate depiction of the blade color.

Very cool, thanks for the pics.  The green filter gives a lime kinda color, and the orange and red ones make it look like Fire Orange and Pyrestone respectively.

I do know with an orange US filter makes a fantastic lime green.

Just FYI, I know not many have SY.

@ Nero - Please feel free to delete my botched first thread.  Apparently, I'm a padawan picture poster. 

@ Qui-Tom - As for the brand of filter, I'm not exactly sure.  I used random theatre gels, but I believe most filters would be similar.  The green filter I used had a bit of a bluish tint to it, producing the green light in the pic I took.  It is kind of a haunting green in person.  If you are looking for that effect, you might want to try a filter that looks turquoise or dark aqua before you put it in the saber.

It's exactly like that with the UE.

The Mid grade. Well if you've seen on color in MG than you can pretty much imagine what it looks like.
