Ok so i finally got my first saber yesterday and damn am i impressed. The saber is everything i hoped it would be and more please excuse the poor pictures, i couldnt find my camera so i used my iPhone 3GS Yes i got sound and the quick disconnect as well Bellicose:  Blade on, with lights on in kitchen:  Blade on, with lights off in kitchen:  Thoughts: I LOVE the color. On camera it looks very indigo, or more of a blue purple, which is what i was prepared to get. However opening it up i found it is VERY purple. The EXACT color i wanted! The saber has enough heft that it does not feel like a toy, but is still light enough to be agile. It will take my hands time to get used to the button placement and covertech however as its my first saber this is to be expected. And i have already put the saber to the ultimate test.... my cat LOVES it she cant leave it alone and will chase me around meowing when i hold it.... She thinks its her new best friend and will cuddle with it and purr. Haha I am very happy with this purchase Thanks UltraSabers |

I spin the sabers inside so much that our fatty of a dog just lays there and lets you pet her and rub her with the saber and spin it inches from her without a care in the world. lol

Cool cat. Go kitty! I too have a Bellicose, and am very happy with it. However, I wish I had gone with my first instinct, the VA. Oh well, maybe I'll send it in and see if US can switch the color for me.  Awesome choice, man! |

Yep, quick disconnets is a good option to go with...a different color, maybe a different pommel and wa-la a different saber.

Nice first saber. My first Obsidian saber is either going to be an Overlord, Consular, or Bellicose. Not sure which yet. So many choices. xp

DVA is what we call a Forum-Only special color. There are several, and Ultra makes them available by special order. Basically, if you find out they exist, you ask for it and you can have it. lol Off hand, there are the following Dark Violet Amethyst, Pyrestone Orange, Bane's Heart (Pink), and Sentinel Yellow. If you want to order them, I'm told you just select one of the normal special colors when you pick your options, like Arctic Blue, Sunrider, or Violet. Then in your Order Comments, make a polite note specifying that you want the forum only color instead of the one you selected. Then when your saber arrives, it should be the special color. So I am told, I've never actually done it myself. |

Getting the Bellicose in 2 weeks. Going for Arctic Blue Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade, black blade holder, bronce button, Obsidian with blue av button and li-ions, and short groove pommel. I like your Dark Violet Amethyst blade though. Looks nice. How does the saber spin in person? To me the saber looks kinda fat unless thats just how it is on camera.
