I am building a truly custom saber for a trade show using a non standard hilt.
I think that I am good to go as far as electronics.
I will likely be using pvc to create an internal structure for the electronics.
I am struggling a bit with mounting the blade.  I suppose I can lock it in place with a screw, but I need to know pretty closely what the diameter of the blade is where it enters the hilt.
This may define about how realistic my part can be, or whether I'll need to fudge it.

Any help here is greatly appreciated.
I only have about 20 days to get this project done.

Great forum, by the way.

Regards,
Chris

Yep, 1" is the standard blade diameter. There are blades out there that use a 7/8ths standard though.
