Just got the coupler in for my two Standard Issue hilts of reverse colors, both in Adegan Silver. I call it the Yin Yang Battle Staff.
Both sabers are fitted with 36" ultraedge blades. Eventhough I normally prefer that for single sabers, on a battle staff, I find that it unwieldingly long. The total length is roughly around 8' long. I've used a Phantom V2 before and the 32" blades were much more to my liking as I'm only 5'5". The other thing that bothered me a bit about the staff is that because of the length, the blades are quite wobbly, which normally doesn't happen while they're seperated. My tip would be for you to either get the shorter blades or to get them with heavy grades, which should remedy the wobbling.
As you can see, the entire length of the staff is quite long!
The average home would barely be able to fit the entire staff vertically, my office in particular couldn't have it stand vertically.
However, I do really like the look of the hilts put together so I'm really considering getting two 32" blades and replacing the 36".
And here they are, seperated for display.
In closing, despite the small issues I had with the length, I highly recommend getting a battle staff as they are amazingly fun to wield in addition to the value you get from buying to seperate sabers.
