I have two sabers on the way and am looking to do some duelling. Ive read a fair bit about peoples woes with wiring etc. Since there is no real chassis in an ultrasaber, what would you guys suggest as far as preventing wires from breaking and stuff from moving around inside the hilt of my sabers?

Which sabers did you order?  Depending on the size of the hilt and the internals, you may get no internal movement at all.

I have both of those, we duel with them all  the time and we haven't had any issues.

The one thing I would recommend - the battery pack may be a bit loose inside.  There's already a velcro strap around the pack to hold the batteries.  What I have done is to cut a circle of foam packing material to slip into the mouth of the pommel to cushion the pack.  It keeps it from rattling and knocking up against the pommel.  Just make sure you can get it out again.  :-)

Agreed, if they're stunts (no sound) then there may be some empty space in there for the pack to move around.  That's one perk of sound, adds more stuff inside the hilt to keep everything tight!

Put bubble wrap behind any electronics. For stunt sabers, put wrap below the battery pack as well. For sound sabers, put wrap on top of the board. This has kept any more of my US sabers from breaking.
