Like I said, Obsidian (and most sound boards) just add the flash color to the main. For it to be green, the main color would have to turn off during a flash, and I don't know if that's possible with an Obsidian. I think you'd need an Emerald or Diamond for that. Still, let me once more advocate Arctic flash. It should look great with that Guardian blade.

Yeah sorry I'm posting I guess when you are lol. Thank you. I really appreciate this info. What about making a blue illuminated av switch? Is there a wire for that too?

Ah, yes, illuminated AV switches. I don't use them, but my raffle win from a few months back has one. Indeed, there's a wire for that. It should have a fairly large resistor on it.

No worries on posting when I am, it happens. I just get all excited when it comes to technical discussions with this stuff. Cheesy

The board is gutted from another hilt and does Include an Emerald driver. I have 2 guardian blue sabers already and would really rather keep the Arctic look cuz it really is nice. I guess I have to look at how to configure it and keep the main color.

Agreed. I believe if you want white FOC, that will disengage the AB color but I’ve never done it that way

I believe its just Red and Blue with more blue than red. I'm not sure if US mixes a little bit of white into it.

So, no I can’t FOC? It has to be a tri with 3 separate colors?

It has to be, otherwise, if you use the same color for FOC, you won't ever see it.  Most FOC are from a tri-cree LED unit but wired up differently.

I pulled The VA module out of my Electrum Wind, and it was only a red and blue. No Tri, just those two on the pad. Granted, that saber is from 2016. Looking at my LED in my Emperor's Hand, (without disassembling it) it looks like the same deal. I think they're the same type of LEDs they used to use in the two channel Emerald drivers, when that was a thing.

Good to know, I based mine off of TCSS' current line up and LEDsupplies (hopefully this is acceptable, if not, I'll remove)
