Fates and Revenge by MadCow

This is for you all looking for a nice Maul or TPM Kenobi font.  I was tired of how similar my Menace and Guardian were sounding similar so I purchased a couple of fonts from Saberfont.com.  There’s a few threads on here discussing how to convert fonts from there to work with an US board.  You just have to convert the files to 16bit and 48000 hz.  It’s easy enough to do with Audacity or even some other programs.  I chose about 6 swings and 6 clashes off of each font.

Pretty thrilled with the result.  Especially on the Menace.  Glad to be rid of those tired ignition sounds I’ve had forever.

Madcow makes some REALLY good fonts, I have several of them.  His Flourish is great for Makashi, and as an EU fan I really like his Jaina SOTJ.

I was having a hard time choosing what I wanted to get, there's an incredible Maul font by Juansith called Darth Maul Excelsior.  It's got HD sound rips right from the blu ray with over 100 files to choose from.  It's lsited at $14 on saberfont.com and I was able to get both of these for the price of just that one.  I think MC's fonts were the way to go ultimately because they have short swings with plenty of bass which translates well when I'm spinning.

Fates is an amazing soundfont. I will be honest, over the last month, I had to have spent well over 75 dollars on soundfonts.


Also like to add that my favorites from Madcow, to date, are Fates and Hero.

I spend a little too much today and picked up those Legends sound fonts of the OT and wow, it is amazing.
