Hello and welcome to the forum!

On a sidenote, this probably ain't the right thread for this question, so don't be alarmed if a moderator moves this.

Now to your question:
You can have (almost) any picture you want as an avatar. You just need to have it uploaded somewhere on the internet. (Alot of people use imgur atm)
Then you just copy the entire url of the picture.
Go to your profile settings and paste the url in the "I've got my own pic"-writing-thingie
Remove the s form https:// and you should be having a new avatar.

For those who are new or unfamiliar, here's a list of our friendly and hardworking crew of Mods here on Saberforum.  If you have any issues, from the most mundane to the extremely urgent, please reach out to any of us for assistance.  Our job is to keep tabs on the forum, making sure everything is organized and easily accessible, as well as ensuring that all members are completely comfortable here.  We are responsible for enforcing the rules as well, but since this is typically a well behaved place, that part is pretty easy

Obviously this is me, Nero Attoru!  I've been on this forum for quite a few years now, being a Mod since about 2011, so I've had the pleasure of watching Ultrasabers and the associated community here grow.  I've seen some crazy things on here, and had a lot of fun in the process.  I consider myself pretty easygoing, so I hope everyone feels welcome to shoot me a PM with any questions or concerns.



Drahcir, the legendary mad scientist of saber customization, is also a Mod here.



Another longtime member here, Kham-Ryn is well known as our resident Sentinel Prime.



Our first female Mod, Dauntless Seven takes her job very seriously and has been working tirelessly right out of the gate.



Joining in 2018 along with D7, Lord Rapine has also been excelling at his role.  Don't let the "Lord" intimidate you, he's a very nice guy!



The expert over at the Obsidian Order has joined the Mod team, helping us to keep order in that section.
