I have an obsidian lite board here, it boots when you pop in batteries. When turned on, it flashes the led, then reboots. Thoughts anyone?

I've tried different batteries, in so many combinations. it definitely isn't behaving properly. I check the leads and its wired correctly as far as I can tell. So I am stumped.

The AAA batteries can be a pain sometimes.  It might just be that one's popping out slightly each time you move the saber.   The boot-up sound each time makes me think so, at least.

Try some electrical tape wrapped tightly around the entire 4 batteries to keep them snug.  That might just be it.

If not, I'd certainly follow Therion's advice. Smiley

Seconded, I've had this happen to me with the Lite board.  If securing the batteries doesn't work, definitely contact Ultrasabers immediately.

That's what I thought. After doing more than a few installs, it looked like a board issue at this point. Just wanted to double check.
