Hey all,

I am looking for advice on pairing a drill press with either a drill press vise or cross slide vise. My budget is 200 total to get both. I want to drill holes in my hilts for charge ports, cover tech and Led Retention and etc. I was thinking of getting the 8” inch Wen DP but I am not sure what type of vise to pair with and I am wondering if anyone here has any advice or good setup options that they use?

Thanks

I went with a 10" and normal drill press vice.  The adjustable table, and variable position of the vise make any angle possible.

Wow, that looks like a nice setup, what brand and model is the Drill Press? is it the 10 inch WEN?

Thanks so much,

No! Bastards wouldn't deliver to Canada!  LOL!  I did want that one...

Mine's a King Canada actually.  It might sound a bit tacky, but it's a pretty solid tool, and they are used solely by a number of shops up here.   It has a laser and light...
Here's their site: link

In fact, I had to order it from the east coast - to Ontario! O_o

Tip: If you like fair prices and good selection, don't move to Canada...lol

The vise and bit were just from Amazon.
