I'm 110% behind Mark Strong getting the role. He looks the part, sounds the part... he'd be just perfect. I mean if you pull up a side by side he has the same kind of face.  |

I saw those too. And as much as I like C.B. as an actor, I think B.C. is just a better fit for the character. Plus he's got that cold malevolent baritone voice that made him so awesome as Khan. Tom as well is a capable actor as well, but still just doesn't have the presence I feel the character needs. I'm 110% behind Mark Strong getting the role. Tell me about it. I want to see Thrawn played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Apparently I'm not the only one who likes these proposals. But I would get rid of the pupils.   If it can be screwed up, it can be fixed. I have to say, Cumberbatch as Thrawn is brilliant casting... I'm 110% behind Mark Strong getting the role.
