Soooo guess who’ll be doing some live demos at a local( and possibly area) cinema?!? Whaaaaat?!? My local cinema will be footing 90% of the bill on a news paper ad, featuring my studio’s logo and also promoting on their Facebook site🤙🏻!! This will be an awesome publicity opportunity for the Shawano Saber Academy!!😄😄

The event was what i’d call a success!🤙🏻😁 it was small-scale, about 20 or so people, but it made it way more comfortable for me to speak to the room🤘🏻. Finished the evening with an interested videographer(talking fan-film/film-short interest. Wtf?!😄) and at least 3 new initiates to the Academy! I even got a chance to have some one-on-one chat time with the mother of one particularly interested young man. She was SO sold on knowing that her son could have an activity like this to get into( and i offered to teach this one solo to work with their scheduling). I’m waiting on getting a copy of the demo performance, but i have one cool photo-op to share with a Big Brothers/ Big Sisters affiliate that happened to come out🤙🏻  Thanks again for any interest and support all of you amazing saber folks! Thanks again for the words of encouragement, fellow saber enthusiasts!😁🤙🏻 i know i say thank you a lot- but hey it’s in the title of the thread AND i’m a pretty grateful person.
Anywho- no new classes started yet, but i’m learning a ton from the first 2 lessons i’ve taught. Everyone’s making progress, and everyone’s having a blast😁! I can’t remember the last time i’ve gotten to be so fully neck-deep in StarWars and cosplay conversation! I think one of the most rad things is getting to talk lightsaber “shop” with these new enthusiasts😁
One more thanks to everyone here for the inspiration and encouragement- believe me i try my absolute best to pay it forward😁🤙🏻
