If you can get to them with wire snips, snip them, then sand them down. A rotary tool would be useful here.
Yes, I went and bought a dremel. Did the trick. I had bought the clamp with the idea that I'd finally found a simple addition with no need for tooling. Perhaps I'll be soothed if I find more uses for the dremel to make it cost effective. It does feel that each time I buy a tool, I'm closer to going into business to make these things myself. I need TCSS to make parts, because I don't have tools. Only to find I need the tools to finish the TCSS parts?
I'd post a vid I found, but I think it mentions a brand name that may be a competitor in some way. But for others with this issue, I'll say go to youtube and look for "Removing Graflex Tabs". Not as easy as he makes it seem, but not far off. His dremel may simply be better than mine.
Now, on to attempting the soldering of my own 410nm tri cree. I will likely have fallen to the dark side the next time you see me. Well, after the components arrive.
