Yes! The spiral o ring is not very star wars, I was thinking a matching D ring will complete the look perfectly!

This is a perfect way to be able to wear you Monarch saber! My son has asked me to find a way for him to wear his Dark Monarch and I think this is perfect, so thank you and point to you good sir. MYFBWY!

^^^ That would be simple to do . You could just put a small cotter pin in one of the holes on the inside of the pin so you would have the amount you wanted it to stick out.

Yes, exactly. One could also use another small spiral O ring on the inside to customize the length. There is a lot of space inside the hallow pommel.
