Here is my dilemma: I can either choose to purchase a Scorpion and Emperor's hand, each with just one color and light sound or I can choose to get my Emperor's Hand with Emerald driver and premium sound and an angled switch. I simply have to wait until July to get the emperor's hand fully loaded. Which would you choose? Any and all advice is welcome. By the way, i have it on good authority that the angled switch should be available in July sometime. Just a heads up.

I agree; get/wait for the Emperor’s Hand. If I remember correctly I thought you had ordered some really cool sabers recently so hopefully when you get them it’ll keep you occupied while you wait for the EH part to come in  |

Fully loaded Emperor's Hand to be honest  I say just wait for the angled boxes to come back in even though I personally like the square boxes for some reason |

As a very happy owner of an Emperor's Hand (with angled box of course) I will join the chorus and say hunker down and wait. Its beauty cannot be exaggerated and premium sound alone is worth the wait for the font choices. Personally I leave mine set to Black Star, it just feels like the right attitude to me.
I'll also offer an unsolicited note: it's only $40 more to get a Diamond board over Emerald with V4 sound and in my book the Diamond board's vastly increased capabilities are worth a lot more than $40. Just my two cents.

If I had to pick one thing above the rest it would probably be the color switching on the fly. Being able to cycle through colors (and their associated soundfonts) without connecting to my computer is extremely convenient and also super fun. There are so many benefits it's hard to pick just one, though. I really like them. |

Late to the responses, but my estimate:
Emerald controls the LED only. Endless LED customization and uses.
Diamond controls both the LED and sound. Add gesture recognition, on the fly sound changes, the list goes on.
To see all the different options each gives, check the Limitless Sabers on the main page and click Emerald, or Diamond to see the different options each brings.
For a bit extra money, IN MY OPINION, Diamond is the way to go.

I'm the outlier I guess. I'd get them both with Lite and lit AV switches, in Tri-Cree AS and use my filters to set colors. But I've found that once I find a color I like I stick to it, so Emerald or Diamond has lost much of its luster to me. :-) Though if I had the $$$ I'd upgrade the sound to Obsidian V4, that "mute" option is nice, but not a deal-breaker to me.
For the record: Scorpion would end up in filtered Sentinel Yellow, and the EH would either be a very light ice-blue or some shade of purple...

I thank you all for your advice. I also read the descriptions carefully and watched ALL the videos related to emerald driver and diamond controller. So, I've jumped all over this deal. Got my Emperors Hand with diamond controller. Pictures will follow along with a video. Thanks again everyone. Couldn't be happier with my order. Hope you all can do the same.
