Full saber at a distance.
Snap a shot of the color combo from a distance, that close is not the best. Also, if you are not using painters tape and doing a light sanding before painting you should this will help smooth out the finish and help it stick.
I did sand and use painters tape, but this is my first attempt and a major learning experience.
The bronze and gold really flow well with the red blade, it looks great especially with the red oozing through the emitter window, Gedda. As far as touch up goes, if you're not as close up while painting, the air bubbles won't result due to the nozzle being too close and flinging out excess air. This should keep having air bubbles at the minimum. I really love how your Aeon is coming out, that aged bronze is a beautiful color indeed. Point for you!
Thanks for the tip.
Initial impression is that I like the color combinations, but try taking a couple of pictures further back. The super close-up only highlights the flaws in the paint. What I've found on mine is that when you pull back some those become invisible and you can better see the overall product. You can always touch up the paint for closer examination after-the-fact.
