good stuff. Our QRC staff is setup very similar. I use a 32 and 24 personally.

The disconnect is looking smooth. +1

Starting to get more comfortable with two sabers as well I see.

Thank you, Master Res🙏🏻😊 i like the 32/24 setup, too- but i wanted to try out this 32/16 to try for a “saber dagger” feel. I do like the micro saber😄

The disconnects are definitely easier to smooth than those reconnects- gotta watch those thumbs!🤣

Great points there, Masters.  Leading by example and practicing with different blade lengths!

looking great Masters Res and El, I really like the asymmetrical staff idea. I may give it a go when I get a V4 coupler.

So, I may be training for a certain event that happens at the end of the year....

Anyway, I use to stop and drill a particular reconnect/disconnect if I make a mistake. After a little more than a year of using the QRC, I now have been trying to keep the mistakes hidden by staying in flow. Some are obvious, some aren't. Only one thumb was badly damaged in the making of this training demo.  Undecided Grin

I really dig your disconnects into flow/combat- i usually have to stall my left hand at least long enough to adjust my grip back to center, but you just morphed into jar’kai like nothing!🤙🏻 those pesky re-connects, though😉

Oh! And the music at the end, cueing to your cut? B’dass, Master Resolute. Just- B’dass🤘🏻

This QRC looks like pen and paper to me - just to have it does not mean one knows how to write.
But you, Master Resolute, have a beautiful writing here and silent-smooth flips between pages!
Thank you for sharing!

thanks. Lots of trial and error, mistakes and thumb pain....but im getting there.

And I did intentionally cue the music to stop on the slash. The full clip is 9 minutes, but that is way too long to watch me spin a saber IMO. Smiley

Still working the catch and release techniques. I have some new ones im working on. Very uncomfortable for me due to my background, but I'll force myself to learn it.
