Whoa! Nice reverse grip! Really fast and smooth. Very stylish. Great lighting too.

This guy is like Yoda with extra swag. A bit taller and funkier though. Smiley

Many thanks, Gumby🙏🏻😊 practice and minor obsession makes progress!

And thanks, Silenoz for the comparison to a certain little, green, Jedi Grand Master😉

Nope- 24” blade.  It’s light, but it’s perfect!🤙🏻

It’s funny to see that you’ve gone to the 24” for general practice with the ol Thorne there. I was just saying I needed to get a pair of 24s for more reliable useage indoors. I like that your sets have some actual combat movement and aren’t just flashy. Plus one for your hard work Graestar. +1

Thanks, Gumby🤙🏻! I don’t think i’d be nearly as fluid with the shorter blade if i hadn’t worked with longer, less balanced setups.  When i tried a shorter blade after i first started it felt waaaaay to light- but then i realized the importance of balance in your wield.  It’s like having trained with the awkward makes me appreciate a finer setup that much more😊

Still in the shadows.

Very nice. Seeing your own style emerge even more with strong hints of your Distant Knight Training and some other flavors as well.

One of my favorite things to do is to go and look back at your first few training sessions (anyone that is). Compare it to now. Study it. See where your tendencies are. It let's you know a couple of things immediately. Footwork. Do I tend to go wide on one side compared to the other. Maybe even a technique you started with, but now has turned into it's own " set " of techniques. A Jab isn't just a jab! ( or is it. Bruce Lee joke...) Anyway, I could go on and on.....

The last thing it does is let you know all that hard work is paying off. Keep training. Lookin' Sharp. +1

🙏🏻😊 many thanks, Master Resolute! I feel more and more of my DEK form coming through as well- which is kinda awesome because it means i’m internalizing my training.  I’m also looking very forward to MORE of that training.

And holy geez yes, go back and look and how you’ve progressed and where you still have room to grow!🤙🏻
