There is a liquid glue made specifically for polycarbonate that literally melts the parts together. The glue bond when cured is stronger than the surrounding plastic.....and it's optically clear.

Thanks for the share DCy.  Have never heard of that glue before.  The pic is kind of hard to read the name brand.  Living in Canada so not sure where to purchase it.  So far I have never had a blade tip pop off from either the older glued on tip or the current threaded one.  This glue could be helpful for my custom blade plugs.  Smiley

Thanks guys. I figured it had to be something like that having grown up building plastic models and the like. Had a feeling though there would be a preferred product that experienced dualist had optimimum results with. I was afraid a regular heavy duty cayanoacryllate glue would just weaken the material around the tip and it would just break off again. I’m going to try DC’s product, if I can find it at the local Billings hobby shop. If I can’t, I’m pretty sure all gorilla products are sold at Wally World.

Thanks everyone!!

Death Cyborg- point for the extra effort (if I can figure out how to give it)

Here is a handy online source for many polycarbonate products
