Totally fine, dude.
Already taken care of.
Rapine, can you put those links back at the top?
And for the symbolism: the red represents the blood of all those who died in the revolution that led to the nation's foundation. It's also for socialism, since our nation is a socialist parliamentary democracy.
The black represents the volcanic obsidian sands that the nation rests on (it's a volcanic, pacific archipelago). It's there because we love our land, and because the volcanoes bring it new life, not only in the fact they literally make new land, but because having to adapt to their wrath has made our citizens versatile.
The blue is for the ocean, and the sustenance it gives our people, both in the fish it feeds us, and the trade routes that make our economy and military strong (Aguaria Major is a naval powerhouse).
The star (or stars, depending on which flag you're viewing), represents the nation's present state. It's (they're) (a) star(s) because the nation is a guiding light for the world, and our future, based on where we are, is always bright. They're green because of our commitment to environmental presentation, and our many tropical forests that blanket and color the islands.
The bird is a Fiery-throated hummingbird. Our national animal, and the flag of the ancient nation that led to the formation of the previous one. Its inclusion signifies that our history, as well as our connection to the natural world, will always be with us. The orange bar (or ray, depending on which flag you're viewing) is the "fire" shooting from its throat. It crosses the star in the middle (the current state of the nation) because our history is something to be proud of, regardless, and therefore influences our current state.
