Some super-geek buddies and I have plans for cosplaying at our summer cons next year (Origins and GenCon, it'll be nice to do something there that's not related to any games we work on), and what better way to geek out and costume together than with Star Wars?  So while I've been putting together the rest of the costume, I've also been eagerly licking my chops waiting to get my hands on a lightsaber or two.

If anything the suspense is just as great as ordering your saber! I think the waiting for the package to arrive is the worst part

I don't understand why we have to wait for eligible orders to ship until the end of the raffle. If you win something, then charge me for extra shipping, I don't care. If I had paid more attention and realized I would need to wait 10 days (or more) to get my order, just on the slim chance I'd win a prize, I would have opted out of the raffle.

Up to a certain point in time, US will ship your saber out before the raffle prizes are announced. I took advantage of a flash sale early on in the promotion, and I had my saber in a few days and if I win something, I'm good with paying postage.

I've been enjoying my Dark Prophecy and it's helped take the edge off the anticipation of the raffle.

It was about 1.5 weeks into the promo when I placed my order.

Yep, first come first serve. If you order late like me, expect some more time for them to get it out to you since there’lol be quite a bit of orders before you.  The wait’s part of the fun, in my opinion
