Thanks for the review Sam, it's very helpful to get one from someone who uses the saber as much as you do. Also it was cool to get to see the mask in action, that thing moves really well  Grin

He seems all nice and cool, but I guarantee you, this man is Darth Maul.  Wink

Thanks for doing a video with your updated thoughts on the saber, bro. It's always great to get a review done after a good deal of time by someone who actually uses the sabers. I like the little canon touches you added with the black O-Rings. Usually, O-Rings aren't my thing, but it's perfect for this saber since those black lines are raised.

Man, the ol' wishlist keeps getting bigger as they release new stuff, but this one has always been on there.

Great review! Good point about the screw scratching Smiley. Comfort in spinning is a big element for sabers, everybody is gonna try it once they get one in their hands. Grin

Great review there, Sam!  I’ve never had any questions regarding Ultra Saber’s quality and now, I feel even better about their product!  I’m not going to lie,  I had to rewind your spinning a bit since it looked really cool and you’re really fluid with it.   We’re the O rings just for canon purposes or did you have it there for better grip.  For a saber that you’re constantly using and spinning with, it still looks beautiful but I’m sure you baby it when not spinning or going to cons with it. Point

Well, the rings on the quick release coupler really help to pull it, but the others are just cosmetic.   Haha, idk if I’ve babied it.  I really put these things through the paces.  I’m a collectors nightmare!  Scratches and stuff are just add character to the hilt.  Maul’s hilt wasn’t exactly pristine looking.

Scratches on hilts should be embraced. Star Wars is well known for its used look. Hardly anything is pristine.

It looks good regardless but a saber should be used other than just looking good.  You’re getting your money’s worth plus more!

Agreed, sabers would be severely weathered going through what Jedi and Sith alike put them through

They get plenty weathered just from what some of us do with them! That’s why I like US though, they don’t really break the bank and they’re tough as hell.  I don’t want a collectible, I want something to use.

You never know when Jedi are going to corner you in the street (they always play the numbers game)

Or when you’ve got to make sure the Jedi know it’s a Sith only club.

I’m just saying...you’ve always got to be prepared and my Menace has had me covered for the last year!

I'm really glad you did the follow up review. A year later and you're still loving the Menace...gotta get my Crimson Menace now. Have a dark side point for the awesome review.
