Need Help Troubleshooting Obsidian v4

So, something has happened with the Obsidian v4 soundboard on my Archon v3.1 that I received on the 10 of August. And I could really use some help in troubleshooting it.

 This afternoon, I reformatted the memory to go from the 4 banks I had been using to 5, so that I could reload one of the Ep VI font. Everything seemed to go okay with the format, I loaded the first bank with my current favorite – LukeROTJNinjaJesus – and stepped away cause sometimes these take a while.
When I came back to the computer, everything looked fine, the US launcher was back at the Obsidian Tab like normal after finishing loading a font. I disconnected through the launcher, turned it off, removed the USB cable, and powered it on to check it.

Except when I power up the lightsaber, it is making a series of different sounds – almost as if it is trying to play all of them at once. It’s really hard to explain – Here is a short video so you can see/hear what it is doing -

 And it is doing this with every font that I load.
Here’s what I’ve done so far troubleshooting:
1)   Reformatted the memory again (actually about a dozen times now)
2)   Tried a fully charged set of batteries
3)   Checked for firmware updates
4)   Re-installed the Ultrasabers Launcher
I’m pretty much out of any additional ideas. I’ve never had anything like this happen, and we have 1 Obsidian v3, 3 obsidian v4s. an Emerald w/Obsidian v4, and 3 Diamonds. I’ve done a lot with all of these, so I’m pretty sure it’s not some kind of newb mistake.
So I’m looking to the community for help. I really hope that this is something that I can solve myself.

Well, it sounds like you've already tried nearly everything you can to fix it. If nobody here has had this problem or has a solution, you may need to contact support.

This.  Just as SFD's mentioned, looks like you troubleshooted everything on your end, I'd contact support and give them the steps you gave us to see what the next steps are.

I kind of figured as much. Just emailed them.

I went ahead and took down the video, even though it was set to Unlisted, I really don't want it being "out there".

Well, hopefully it will be a quick resolution and you won't have to send it in. But, it looks like some kind of malfunction to me. You obviously know your way around the Obsidian boards, so that rules out user error.

Well, hopefully it will be a quick resolution and you won't have to send it in. But, it looks like some kind of malfunction to me. You obviously know your way around the Obsidian boards, so that rules out user error.

It helps that I've been working in desktop support for what seems like forever. Started out in hardware and now I do remote support. So I've know for a long that it pays to read the manuals when they're available and  try not to just "wing it". It also makes a difference that we started out with a Diamond controller on our first saber. I did all of my homework on that before trying to work with it cause it's too expensive to try to use without knowing what you're doing first. Once you learn your way around that one - the rest are kind of easy.

I just want to put huge props for Marlena, she spent a good portion of the day  emailing back and forth. She helped me figure it out. A small detail I missed in my panic mode. All is good now.

curious, if you're willing to share and it isn't complicated, what was the issue? I think I saw someone with a similar problem before on here but don't remember how they fixed it.

The hardware parameters on the Obsidian Soundboard tab were all out of whack and needed to be reset a couple of times to get it to correct the impacts and debouncing.
