Ok Knights and padawans, just a quick look at my new Manticore. The power is out here now, so I’m running my phone by car power, and there is no artificial light in the house. Hi Gumby,
That mod works really well. I'd never have thought of that. As I mentioned in my comment on YT it just suits the saber with the two tone set-up.

Great Manticore you have there, Gumby. Love the SRD on it but it's my favorite color so I'll probably love it on any saber, haha. Anyhow, I like the Guardian pommel on it. It just flows well with it since the Manticore is silver and black which matches the pommel. Great AV switch by the way, have a point.

Thanks Tyeth!! Because it’s so new I’m not sold on anything yet, but I have some sweet brown goatskin I’m considering wrapping the handle with. If I did that a black pommel wouldn’t be what I’d want. Have to live with it for a while though. The force will guide me the the proper fit!

Wow, shooting and posting a review with no power. That's dedication.  Nice review and a nice looking and sounding saber. The Guardian pommel definitely looks interesting on there. |

It’s funny, my wife says the sunriders is her favorite now and she doesn’t like her VA led anymore. She can’t have my Manticore though. 🤪 Hope to have power and more pics soon. There’s so much to see here!!!

That's a great looking saber Gumby, I like the pommel you put and how the lit AV color seems to match the FOC. Is that GB FOC or AB FOC? As I only see AB as an option in the pull down menu for SRD but I would think GB is possible too as a special request.

Slick idea on matching the flash kolor!! It's a match & mis style!! I did the same to my Renegade, which is AS with red FOC, and u know the rest of da flow!! Very nice saber would love to get my handz on a Manticore in da future!! +1 for copying my style!! Hahaha |

Hey, I’ll take that!! At this point in the game it’s hard to come up with easily modified concepts that the OG’s haven’t tried before, but it’s still fun to try to make something that’s truly yours and unique. I’m starting to accumulate hilts to he point where I’m not afraid to consider going really outside the box and doing some serious custom, hand done work. That blue AV may end up in a completely different saber, and the LED as well. But for now it’s cool green on cool blue...
