I recently acquired a Spectre and while there are myriad things I like about it, I quite dislike the tsuba.  Personally I just don't think handguards of any sort belong on lightsabers as I am an ossified old nerd.  Happily, as I had suspected/hoped, the Spectre's tsuba is a screw-on MHS compatible piece and easily removed.  Thus, with help from a TCSS trim ring and some clocking washers, I was able to clean things up nicely as shown below.







I liked the Spectre fine in stock form, but now I can simply appreciate all the beautiful features without the tsuba acting as the proverbial pebble in my shoe.  I vastly prefer this new look and am very pleased with the result, though of course your mileage may vary.  For those curious it's Emerald equipped and shown in Dark Violet Amethyst, which looks so good that I haven't tried any other colors yet.  Anyway, thanks for reading and happy sabering everyone!

Actually, I think I like this configuration as well. Nice job. Of course, the original version is my favorite. My Spectre is in DVA as well. It's an amazing color on the saber. Don't think I would change it either. Have a point for pure creativity.

Looks good bub. I like the tsuba, but you did a great job, and really made it your own without changing it from its basic look.

Wow, that looks really nice. I have the Spectre and I love it. I also got it in Violet and haven't changed it Lol. It does look really good with this hilt.
