For those who use recharge ports...

...what do you use/do to cover up the exposed recharge port when going out with your saber(s)?

I don't have an in hilt setup with the one recharge port that I do have but it's also mounted in a custom chassis so it's out of the way. A few members have placed a piece of electrical tape over them so that things won't get into it.  You can try that but I'm sure more members will give their ideas

I don't cover them at all. From what I can tell, the ports are as clean as they were when I first purchased the sabers - which means 4 to 5 years ago.

When they're unused, I always plug in the charger, so dust and dirt can't get in. And when I'm outside, they're mostly covered by my hands...

Maybe I am just overthinking it snd over worrying about sweat or whatever getting in the port and ruining my beloved saber(s).

They're quite sturdy, I don't think that sweat or spray water will do any major damage. I had them outside when there was light rain, and they were perfectly fine afterwards. I wouldn't use them in heavy rain or put them underwater, though. That might become a problem...
