So, I want a new look, thinking a steampunk assassin or a Jedi Cyborg steampunk. I got these goggles on etsy and am looking at some cyborg arm and armor additions and a new robe depending on which way I go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.     |

Those are cool, DB! I've been looking at mechanical arms myself but I'm afraid the one that I'm looking at is either not for sale or super expensive. I look forward to seeing you iteration of a punk Jedi or assassin.

The best crossover between Steampunk and Star Wars is the armor. When it comes to making armor you can go with simple construction and use EVA foam. It's super easy to use and there a ton of Youtube videos on how manipulate it. Might I also recommend a very neat product called Rub n' Buff, it's a wax coating that is usually applied with the finger and is without doubt the easiest way to "age" items. A very popular product among Steampunkers.
There are many different types of Steampunk style but it looks like you are going for the gold colored and gears style. You can get random lots of extra gears on Ebay, and most greeblies used for Steampunk are salvaged from electronics and anything you can imagine.

You can see, it's dark like sunglasses, but they flip up for yellow lenses which are nice and bright.
