Hi there Lady Revan, funny you mention Wizards - have you been rummaging through my warehouse again and seen my "Abietes Conum" Harry Potter themed hilt?
Nope! I was actually referencing Gandalf in LOTR when Frodo comments on him being "late." I saw a custom hilt somewhere recently with the theme and had it on the mind. lol |

Ah ok the other Wizard franchise! I haven't done a LOTR themed hilt yet, maybe one for the future. I think I put the idea to the back of my mind as a few of the other well known Indy Installers had done LOTR. |

Hello Everybody, I have had a hectic day today with visiting relatives coming to my little home but I think it is about time I post another design. This is one that came about after I was challenged to create a "Charlie's Angles" themed hilt by a friend. He wanted a hilt based on the Angels' custom transit van....Yes, that great big pink van with the Angels' silhouette logo on the side. How the heck can you make a sber out of that? Well I did, but while building it I had a movie playing as background noise and I noticed some possibilities. That movie was "Resident Evil: Retribution" so here is my "Project: Alice" as it were...     I mentioned that I built the saber based on a custom van, well the octagonal collars I imagined looked like the wheel arches and then the crystal chamber would be a sunroof. BUT I noticed the octagon was the same shape as the Umbrella logo! And with a few tweaks in colour scheme, the crystals are replaced with three vials of "T-Virus"...oh and obviously Alice has her name engraved on the handgrip, I think this is a no nonsense saber for a no nonsense kick-ass character! And that Umbrella logo makes an appearance as the speaker grill! Hope you all survive the zombie apocalypse and thanks for checking this hilt out! |

But I didn't think that one was really suited for this forum, it is a long way removed from Star Wars point back at top of hour. |

Hi LSG, I have to come up with something now and then to surprise you all! And I think this may be the first TRIPLE crystal chambered saber design. Ok the chamber is filled with "T-Virus" but it's still as lethal. Glad I continue to impress and as always thank you for your comments. point incoming. (p.s. The colour scheme is also the corporate colours of the Umbrella Corporation!) |
