Hi Cyclops,

Yeah I heard that the cable channels of the US were a bit sketchy as far as content was concerned, but luckily some early episodes should be available online now (I think).

And to HesaHeart, I have learnt that you are only as old as the person you feel so if you stay young minded you should be OK.

Finally to Logos...I did a quick "chop shop" job on the Pryndonian Saber and have this a preview of what your suggestion might look like (and I did two colour schemes)…

Hi Dutch, I have to admit as popular as the "Crimson" coated sabers are I think there are only a few that it really suits (i.e. ceremonial style sabers or oriental Mulan/Samurai types oh and the Scorpion of course). The black finish on this version happened by accident, I just dragged the cursor over the colour wheel picker and darkened it to this shade....you could say another Bob Ross "Happy little accident"!

I will probably work on some new body sections for this too as Logos said "not necessarily symmetrical" but I am just working on some turbolaser/maser cannon turrets for a certain ship!

I am afraid the details are closely guarded secrets and I'm not sure the Guild are quite ready to unveil their new toy just yet. I think they will hold a launching ceremony for it themselves -so keep your eyes peeled around the forum....though it is such a large ship it'd be hard to miss.....

Hi Infinit, thanks a lot, glad you approve. As mentioned the red and gold were the house colours of the college on Gallifrey in Dr Who. The robes of students were red trimmed with gold and in the episodes "Trial of a Timelord" you can see similar robes that partly inspired the shape of the hilt.

Patience my friend and I'm sure you'll be rewarded! (<I've always wanted to quote a line like that  ) I am getting close to a finished build but just as with sabers, as soon as my client sees something I have modelled it triggers more ideas that they'd like incorporated!

Thanks very much but this is really just a cut and paste job mirroring the emitter part! It works and would confuse an opponent I guess as they wouldn't know which end of the hilt was the "business end" or maybe even both - Ooh! If I extend this I'd have a staff version too.
