Keep up the good work. Hi chalion, thank you very much, I do my best to be diverse and think outside the box with my designs. However I know not all designs will be liked by all so I take on board member's ideas and opinions and try to incorporate that into my thinking - so thanks to everyone for helping me develop and improve. And...as it's Saturday I need to post another new design. This is the second of my recovered hilts from when my laptop crashed. I hadn't given it a name so I refer to it as "Lost Build Two"!     And for the Dark Side followers...  And finally another teaser image of my upcoming projects..  Thanks to both you and to HesaHeart for your comments, points on their way to you. |

The glow on the lost build...especially on the 'claws' menacing in a very prominent way, like it is just going to tear apart anything and everything in its path, and the upcoming ones, loving the metallic look! Not enough points to express astonishment as your continued brilliant designs.

Absolutely gorgeous design. I'm a huge fan of black and gold accented sabers. (I love gold...) I love the curved designs of the entire hilt overall and the emitter doesn't seem too large to make it top-heavy when wielding which is good and the switch and LEDs look fantastic with it being embedded into the hilt |

Hi LSG and thanks, I'm so glad you liked "Lost Build 2", though I have to say the metallic coating on my upcoming hilts is just a preview texture used to see how a model looks as you build it (the texture is called a "Material Capture" or MatCap for short.) It is a "real time preview" function I have used before, namely on the all gold or orange models I have posted. And speaking of gold... Absolutely gorgeous design. I'm a huge fan of black and gold accented sabers. (I love gold...)

Hello Infinit. Thanks man, I'm glad you approved the claws, I recently modelled the Master Zorro rapier hilt and realised the quillons and basket guard could be too large so I was mindful of how big I made the claws on this hilt. Also adding the slightly longer pommel to add the crystal chamber helped balance the hilt. Yes!, YES!!, YES!!!These are absolutely AMAZING FT!! But I've seen bits of the original Ant-Man) the design was just something I had in my head at the time I was testing out Blender 2.8 (I used ver2.7 previously). But it does look a bit like the bug. point on the way. |
